MISSION MEXICO
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

our purpose:Our purpose is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the nations by sharing the Good News through prayer, testimonies, and music; as well as distributing food, clothing, and contributing in the development of an orphanage center.
We are working with a missionary family, Eladio and Galina Garcia Serrano, that moved into Ensenada, BC, Mexico 2 years ago. Their ministry consists of work with impoverished families and Mexican Indian tribes. On our last missionary trip, they suggested a plan to broaden the ministry and make it more sustainable with measurable results. We discussed this vision with other local pastors in Baja, and local churches here in Oregon, about how to bring this vision to life.
The plan envelopes multiple people and organizations, this is a brief overview:
- Our combined vision is to build a Family Learning Center/Children's Center in Baja California, for children that come from disadvantaged families, Indian tribes, and just street kids.
The center will have three major functions:
- Education
-
- Practical skill learning
- Character development through biblical teaching, and personal relationship with those involved
- Our first part in this mission is to plant seeds of faith, hope, and perseverance in the hearts of young people, that with God's help, they CAN break the chains of despair and hopelessness, and they CAN succeed as individuals, and be a positive influence on their peers and society.
- Our second part in this mission is to be physically involved in the construction of this center.
- The way we see this vision becoming a reality, is through the proper coordination of resources from various sources, and full use of individual talents in areas such as Construction, Education, Consultation, Pastoring, Mentoring, Training, Charity, and others. We are very blessed to be involved in this project, and witness visible results.
who is going:Our group consists of adolescents who, for the first time, will be experiencing the ministry field. They will be lead by a team of church leaders who have ministered in Mexico for several years.
